On Deck Network is hosting a Tryout event in conjunction with the Ottawa Titans of the Frontier League. The event will take place at Albert Park in San Rafael, CA and will be run by Bobby Brown, manager of the Titans, and Aaron Miles, manager of the Ballers. The goal of the event is to evaluate talent and identify players who may contribute at the professional level as the Titans and Ballers coaching staffs make roster decisions in the offseason. Check in will begin at 10:00am and the event will last roughly 3-4 hours.

Current professional free agents
Recent college graduates
Independent baseball players looking to advance
Current college players looking for exposure and evaluation
Pitchers/Catchers: $50
Infielders/Outfielders: $75

Weather says it is going to rain...any updates?
Hey Alex, good lookin out! There's usually a slight chance of rain in San Rafael this time of year on most days with the city being located so close to the bay and the coast. A couple apps are saying around 20% for Saturday and some are saying up to 50%. There's a bigger chance of rain on Friday, which hopefully means that if there is a system moving through that it won't hang around on Saturday. I think we will be good to go on Saturday, especially starting later at 11:00am than we did last year for the same event. We will keep an eye on the weather and will update players via email if anything changes for Saturday.
